Play the *NEW* East Course

Boasting a spectacular upgrade in 2012 !! The 18 hole tee box enhancement in addition to a complete bunker renovation project was designed and overseen by award winning Bill Love, architect of the redesign on the 2012 US Open course at The Olympic CC.

The enhancement includes:

  • Improvement of all 18 tee complexes
  • Lady, senior, middle tees as the major focus
  • 12 additional sand traps strategically placed

Briarwood East and West Courses

Briarwood’s “36″ championship holes lie in a peaceful, rural setting nestled in the gently, rolling hills of South Central Pennsylvania.

The “East” course , opened in 1956 and was redesigned in 2012 by award winning archetect Bill Love. All 18 tee complexes were enlarged and improved with the emphasis on forward, senior and medium length tees. With the new tees creating different approach angles to the green complexes and the 12 new well placed sand bunkers, the “NEW” East course provides enjoyable rounds for players of all abilities.

Briarwood “West”, a multi-teed facility also crafted by designer Bill Love in 1992 requires straight drives and accurate approach shots to well bunkered, undulating, bent grass greens.

Both courses are featured on the Golf Digest Must Play List and played host to the Futures Lady Professional Golf Tour for 10 years.

Exceptional conditioning with modest pricing make the “East” and “West” courses at Briarwood a MUST PLAY!
