Click here for AARP Organizational Meeting Information - March 23, 2011
All seniors 50+ years young and older are invited to become members of the Briarwood AARP golf league.
Briarwood offers 9 and 18 holes Thursday and Friday with seasonal tee times from 7 - 10 am.
Wednesdays an 18 hole group enjoys different individual events each week with an 8:30 shotgun start.
Monthly on a Tuesday there is a 4 person scramble event with lunch after play.
Both groups plays from March until the snow flies or players go to Florida for the winter, which ever comes first.
To participate in any of the Briarwood AARP events, you must be a Briarwood AARP member. The membership fee of $18 per year includes discounted AARP rates Monday thru Friday, a league handicap, monthly 18 hole scrambles, weekly tournaments and 4 newsletters throughout the season.

Ladies Day
Ladies play Tuesdays with regularly scheduled tee times between 6:30 and 9:30 am. Play rotates amoung the 4 different nines at Briarwood. Registration is $10 to join the league and the weekly rates are ....9 holes - Walk $13.25 Ride $18.00 ~~ 18 holes - Walk $16.25, Ride $25.00. Rates include a $1.00 prize money paid out to winners of the tournaments run weekly. Prizes are awarded for Gross and Net scores along with Closest to the Pin winner each week and may be used for green fees, carts, equipment and driving range balls. The schedule and weekly tournament event schedule follows. New players are always welcome.
Join the fun.... Try us for a week without joining to see if Briarwood is for you....It is a fun time played for the enjoyment of the game and social interaction with friends.
