Junior Golf Program
A Briarwood Junior Membership is not required. Beginners, 9-hole Intermediates and 9-hole Advanced will all receive instruction from Briarwood professionals.
Beginners must be age 5 or older with little or no experience. After the instruction session, they play a hole or two on the course, with parents required to remain with the child during the entire program.
2026: We will hold two separate sessions for the Beginner division—1:00 & 2:00. When signing up, please select the session time that your Beginner will be participating in. Each session will be limited to 20 kids.
9-hole Advanced have a scoring requirement for boys of 50 or better and for girls of 60 or better and must be able to play in two hours. 9-hole Intermediates have a scoring requirement for boys of 70 better and for girls of 80 or better must be able to play in two and a half hours. Instruction begins at 12:00 pm for 9-hole Advanced, with tee times at 1:00 pm. Instruction begins at 12:30 pm for 9-hole Intermediates, with tee times at 1:30 pm.
Tournament dates are Wednesdays beginning June 10th.
Championship will be held on August 5th.
Registration fee is $40 per person.
Weekly play fees - $7 for beginners, $12 for 9-holers.
